Introduction
EGCA or e-governance of civil aviation marked the digitalisation in the processes of DGCA. DGCA launched this e-services platform to facilitate online processing of various services related to Civil Aviation on www.dgca.gov.in. The first step towards being a pilot is to create an EGCA login. All your details as a pilot will be stored on this platform and can be accessed by DGCA. So though its very easy, let me take you through the steps to create an EGCA account
—- Log into the egca website- https://www.dgca.gov.in/digigov-portal/jsp/dgca/common/login.jsp
—- Now you will find the sign up option and from the drop down menu choose PILOT.
On clicking submit, you will find the page below. It asks if you have a PMR file number. PMR means previous medical records. So, if you are a fresher, you might not have a PMR, in this case you can click on NO and click on proceed to step 2 . But, if you have a PMR, you can click on YES and enter your PMR details and proceed.
Now in the next step upload your personal information like your name, address, parents name etc. Make sure whatever you enter is absolutely correct and as per your ID proof. Once your done, click on proceed to 3.
Now, in the next step, you will have to upload your documents. You can choose from a list of documents like Aadhar card, voters id, driving license, passport etc. Whatever you are planning to upload should JPG or PDF format and less than 2000 mb in size.
Also be ready with your photograph, signature and 10th mark-sheet again in JPG or PDF format. Abide by the guidelines on the left while uploading your photograph and signature.
Read the guidelines carefully, so that you do not waste time while uploading your photo and sign.

Your phone number and email id will be verified with the otp you enter.
